Robert O. Armstrong has been teaching mathematics at Volunteer State Community College, Gallatin, Tennessee, since 1971. He completed his undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University, received an M.A. in education from Memphis State University, and both his M.A. and D.Ed, in mathematics from the University of Georgia in 1968 and 1971. He has taught junior high school mathematics in Florida, Tennessee and Georgia.
