Donald R. Horner

Donald R. Horner is Professor of Mathematics at Eastern Washington State College, Cheney, where he has been teaching since 1966. He is the author of seven recent college mathematics texts and several study guides that are cybernetically designed for non-lecture courses using nonprogrammed materials. As the article describes, he is involved in research on various alternatives to the traditional lecture approach to mathematics instruction.
