Abstract

The surgical results of correction of strabismus and blepharoptosis that occur in the ocular congenital fibrosis syndrome are described. Eleven patients examined at the University of Minnesota Ophthalmology Department are described including clinical findings, operative procedures, and complications that occurred. Based on our experience, suggestions are proposed for more effective treatment for this rare familial condition.
