Secondary Vertical Deviations after Oculinum Injection

Abstract

Secondary vertical deviations may result from oculinum injection to horizontal rectus muscles. Our series shows this occurs most commonly after medial rectus injection. We believe it is due to concomitant effects of oculinum on the superior oblique. Its significance is discussed.
