Abstract
Migraine is classified according to symptoms associated with the headache; complicated migraine is the designation for persistent associated neurologic loss. This is a case report of a patient with persistent visual field loss and acquired nyctalopia associated with migraine. Although retinal dysfunction has been documented, this case is believed to be the first report of inner retinal layer loss (diagnosed by contrast sensitivity function and electrophysiologic testing) in the presence of unimpaired visual acuity.
