The Adjustable Faden Operation: A New Suggestion

Abstract

In honor of the memory of Dr. Philip Knapp, I submit this article on original work inspired by his teaching. I travelled from Italy to study with him periodically for 5 years and had the great pleasure to host him while he was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Siena in 1987. I remember him for his professorial and human endowments, his intellectual rigor, his scientific honesty and his professional correctness. I found especially remarkable the generosity and willingness with which he divulged his experience and his knowledge and the patience and care with which he followed his patients.
