The faunal remains

Summary

A brief survey of archaeological occurrences on Mount Marsabit in northern Kenya revealed sparse scatters of stone artefacts in the non-forested areas. Excavation in Kulchurdo rock shelter yielded signs of occupation in the fourteenth or fifteenth century AD by stone tool-making peoples who made little use of pottery, hunted wild game and had access to domestic ovicaprids.
