Abstract

This article explores some of the complexities of psychotherapy with an identical twin. The difficulty of developing in psychotherapy while so much of what is oneself is located in the other twin will also be explored. The use of the countertransference as a therapeutic method will be considered as the young person develops her unique, separate identity.

Dans cet article, l'auteur explore quelques-uns des problèmes complexes qui se posent lors de la psychothérapie d'un jumeau monozygote. Il constate qu'il est difficile pour un tel enfant de s'épanouir grâce à sa psychothérapie alors qu'une grande partie de ce qui le constitue se trouve situé dans son jumeau. L'utilisation du contre-transfert en tant qu'approche thérapeutique est étudiée au fur et à mesure que la jeune patiente dont il est ici question développe son sentiment identitaire personnel et unique.

In questo articolo si esplorano alcune delle complessità nella psicoterapia di un gemella omozigota. Viene anche esplorata la difficoltà di crescere in psicoterapia quando gran parte di ciò che si è viene dislocato nell'altra gemella. Si considera l'uso del contro-transfert come strumento terapeutico mentre la giovane paziente sviluppa la sua specifica e separata identità.

Es wird die Schwierigkeit erörtert, wie man sich in Psychotherapie entwickeln kann, wenn so viel von dem, was man selbst ist, in dem anderen Zwilling plaziert ist.
