Statement of retraction

This article refers to:

The Editors, the Association for Child Psychotherapists (ACP), and Taylor & Francis, publishers, of the Journal of Child Psychotherapy are retracting the following article:

‘Notes on some technical problems in a case of obsessional neurosis’ by Anthony Parfitt, Journal of Child Psychotherapy, Volume 25, Issue 1, 1999, pp. 115–139, DOI: 10.1080/00754179908260284

Subsequent to publication, and after investigation by the ACP Ethics Committee, it has been determined that the article as published contravenes the Association’s Code of Ethics and consequently the Editors, the Association for Child Psychotherapists (ACP), and Taylor & Francis, publishers have decided, in order to protect patient confidentiality to retract the article from publication.

The Editors, the Association for Child Psychotherapists (ACP), and Taylor & Francis, publishers note we received, peer-reviewed, accepted, and published the article in good faith.
