Article title: Editorial

Author: Russell, J.

Journal: Journal of Child Psychotherapy

Bibliometrics: Volume 44, Number 3, pages 299–303

DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/0075417X.2018.1560711

The Journal of Child Psychotherapy editorial team would like to offer a sincere apology that, through a highly regrettable oversight, two important papers which had been accepted, edited and batched for Vol. 44 No. 3 were omitted from the issue during the final stages of production. Both Anggielina Trelles-Fishman’s paper entitled Towards emotional containment for staff and patients: developing a Work Discussion group for play specialists in a paediatric ward, and the multi-authored paper Different perspectives in measuring processes in psychodynamic child psychotherapy by Fredrik Odhammar, Geoff Goodman & Gunnar Carlberg were introduced in the editorial in the full expectation that they were included. These articles will instead now be offered in a prominent position in our following issue Vol. 45 No. 1, due April 2019. The Trelles-Fishman paper was published online on 14th January and can be accessed through the link here https://doi.org/10.1080/0075417X.2018.1550663, whilst the Odhammar et al. article was first published online 13th November 2018 and can be found through its link here https://doi.org/10.1080/0075417X.2018.1539864. As a small gesture of compensation for the disappointment and frustration this may have caused our valued authors, Taylor & Francis have generously enabled free access downloads of both papers between February and April 2019 and we would encourage readers to make use of these in advance of their publication in print.

The editorial has now been corrected online as follows:

  • Two consecutive paragraphs on pages 302 and 303 have been removed, from “We are also pleased to offer…” though to “…and in offering child psychotherapy”.

  • The authorship of the editorial has been changed from Jo Russell and Sarah Sutton to Jo Russell.

Jo Russell
