This volume is dedicated to the memory of Sidney S. Furst, M.D., a cherished colleague, friend, and devoted member of our Editorial Board, who contributed his clinical and theoretical wisdom to the aims of The Psychoanalytical Study of the Child.
We deeply mourn the death of two beloved colleagues and friends. Donald J. Cohen, M.D., Director of the Yale Child Study Center, who died on October 2, 2001, was a long-time supporter of The Psychoanalytic Study of the Child. A special section of Volume 58 will be dedicated to his memory.
Albert J. Solnit, M.D., who died on June 21, 2002, was Managing Editor of The Psychoanalytic Study of the Child for the past thirty years.
A forthcoming volume will be dedicated to his memory.
