The Body in Adolescent Diaries

The Case of Karen Horney

Pages 400-410 | Published online: 22 Nov 2016

Notes

We are grateful to Dr. Stuart Hauser, who gave us the opportunity to analyze these diaries. Inge Seiffge-Krenke found The Adolescent Diaries of Karen Horney (New York, Basic Books) in his office when she visited him in Boston in the spring of 1997. A German translation of these diaries does not yet exist. Dr. Hauser was kind enough to give his book away and to support us in dealing with this issue. The first analyses were started with the help of Nicole Aengenheister.
