Viene segnalata la presenza in Sardegna di due rari basidiomiceti della flora micologica italiana: Gastrocybe lateritia (Gasteromycetidae), specie originaria del Nord America, e Xerula caussei (Hymenomycetidae) fino ad oggi tipica delle faggete del Nord Europa.

The occurrence in Sardinia of two rare basidiomycetes, Gastrocybe lateritia native of North America, and Xerula caussei thus far typical of beechwoods in North Europe, is here signaled.
