Don't Let Anyone Die in Your Pool

Pages 157-160 | Published online: 12 May 2016

Abstract

Residential pools may enhance the lives of patients, families, and friends. But insufficient supervision, inadequate protective devices, and human error can turn pools into death traps for children and adults who cannot swim. By spreading the word about powered safety pool covers, physicians can help prevent accidental drownings.
