Dr Bovard is a family physician completing a masters of public health degree in the Department of Preventive Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the Wilderness Medical Society.

Dr Schoene is an associate professor of medicine at the University of Washington in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
