Abstract
The mechanooxidation of polyisoprene in the cyclic loading-unloading mode is analyzed. The oxidation is shown to flow faster in the cyclic loading mode compared to that of the continuous loading. The initial strain (∊init) acts as the stabilizing agent in the cyclic oxidation mode.
