Abstract
The study was concerned with the clinical utility of Rorschach anxiety signs. Using a sample of 94 psychiatric inpatients it was found that shading responses K and k: (1) do not show the presence of anxiety, (2) do not discriminate between anxiety levels, (3) are unrelated to anxiety as reflected in self-reported symptoms on Cornell Index. The Cornell Index was found to show the presence of anxiety and to discriminate between anxiety levels.
