Regular Rings, Idempotents, and Products of One-Sided Units

ABSTRACT

It is shown that every element in a one-sided unit-regular ring is the sum of an idempotent and a one-sided unit. Also we prove that every element in a regular ring satisfying related comparability is the sum of an idempotent and the product of two one-sided units.
