Abstract
It is shown that if is a Noetherian graded ring, where A
0 is a field of characteristic p > 0 and if I is a maximally differential graded ideal of A, then there exists a Noetherian graded subring B of A such that A has a p-basis over B and such that the irrelevant maximal ideal of B extends to I. The graded analog of Harper's theorem has also been proved as a corollary.
