On Maps Determined by Zero Products

Abstract

The main result describes a bijective additive map h between prime rings with nontrivial idempotents that satisfies h(x)h(y)h(z) = 0 whenever xy = yz = 0. The proof is based on the consideration of a multiadditive map satisfying a related condition.
