Star Almost Schreier Domains

Abstract

Let D be an integral domain and * a star operation on D. We study the following property: for every *-invertible ideals I, H 1, H 2 of D such that I ⊇ H 1 H 2, there exist an integer k ≥ 1 and ideals I 1, I 2 such that (I k )* = (I 1 I 2)* and , i = 1, 2. The k = 1 variant of the property above is also studied.
