THE ADDITIVE STRUCTURE OF INDECOMPOSABLE Z_pnC_p-MODULES

Introduction

The problem of describing the finite modules of the group algebra Z _p nC_p (where Z _p n is the integers modulo pⁿ and C_p the cyclic group of order p), has been considered by Szekeres [3] and Nazarova-Roiter [2] in connection with the classification problem of finite p-groups with an abelian normal divisor of index p. In both papers a description of the indecomposable modules is given.
