Abstract

Compounds of platinum(IV) with 2,9-dimethyl-l, lO-phenanthroline (dmp) have been prepared by oxidation of platinum(II) compounds, and by reaction of platinum(IV) ccmpounds with dmp. A palladium(IV) compound has been prepared by oxidation of the palladium(II) compound.
