Abstract
Aminofluoroarsines of the type ASFn (N(R)SiMe3)3-n (R[dbnd]SiMe3, t-Bu; n[dbnd]2,1) are prepared by the reaction of arsenic trifluoride and the corresponding lithium-silylamines, LiN(R)SiMe3. While AsF(N(SiMe3)2)2 decomposes at 150°C eliminating Me3SiF to give the fourmembered ring compound, ((Me3Si)2 NAsNSiMe3)2 AsF (N(t-Bu)SiMe3)2 reacts at about 22°0 C in a rather complex way.
