Abstract

The Lewis acid behaviour of triphenyltin azide has been examined through interaction with various N- and O-donor ligands. The newly synthesised compounds have been characterised and their structure established on the basis of elemental analyses, molar conductance, molecular weight, IR, UV, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectral studies. The thermal stability of the compounds has been examined by TGA.
