Abstract
An alternative route leading to 1,1′-bis(β-hydroxyethyl)ferrocene is described. Another difunctional compound, 1,1′-bis(β-aminoethyl)ferrocene, was also prepared. Some of the physical and spectral properties of these compounds are reported.
