Abstract
The potassium, rubidium, and cesium complexes of ethylenediaminetetraacetatocobaltate(III) dihydrate and the racemic and one optically active form of trans-l,2-cyclohexanediaminetetraacetatocobaltate(III) mono-hydrate were prepared stoichiometrically in an essentially nonaqueous system. The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses and W-VIS absorption spectroscopy. The optical rotatory dispersion and circular dichroism spectra were obtained on the optically active complexes. The complexes were stable and displayed similar physical properties.
