Abstract

A convenient and simple procedure for the preparation of R₃SnX (R = Me, Et, Bu_n; × = -NC(O)CH=CHC(O), -NC (O)CBr=CBrC (O), -NC (O)CH₂CH₂C (O), -NC (O)-o-C₆H₄C (O), -NSO₂-o-C₆H₄C (O), -N[SO₂C₆H₄-Me-p]₂ from trialkyltin oxide and the corresponding imide, at room temperature, is described.
