Abstract

Three keto arene complexes C6H5CH2CORFeCp+PF6 − (R=CH3, OC2H5or OH) have been prepared from de acetylation or decarboxylation of corresponding β-dicarbonyl complexes, C6H5CH(COCH3)2FeCp+PF6 −, C6H5CH(COCH3) CO2C2H5FeCp+ PF6 − and C6H5CH(CO2C2H5)2FeCp+PF6 − respectively.
