Abstract
In this paper, we report the synthesis of some new dioxobridged tungsten(V) complexes with N-alkylphenothiazines(L) as ligands. These complexes, to which the formula [W2O4L2(H2O)2] has been assigned, have been characterized by analytical, molar conductance, magnetic and spectral data. The low magnetic moments are due to a spin-spin interaction or metal-metal bonding. The interactions of these complexes with L-cysteine, L-histidine and L-lysine have been studied.
