Abstract
Copper(II) alkoxides, Cu(OR)2 (R = methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, amyl, phenyl and quinoline groups), have been synthesised by electrolysis of alcohols or alcohols in N,N-dimethylformamide using a copper anode and Bu4N+Cl− as supporting electrolyte.
