Abstract
Cationic ruthenium complexes of the type [RuH(CO)(PPh3)2(L)2]=[BPh4]− and [RuH(CO)(PPh3)2(L')]=[BPh4]− have been prepared from the chlorohydrioruthenium complexes, RuHCl(CO)(PPh3)2(L)/(L') using NaBPh4 in presence of an excess of respective nitrogen heterocyclic ligands, L (monodentate) or L' (bidentate). These crystalline complexes have been characterised by elemental analysis, conductivity, IR and 1H NMR spectra, and possible stereochemistry has been established.
