Abstract
Alkoxyalkylorganyl selenides are obtained in quantitative yields by the reaction of 1-bromo-2-ethoxyethane or 1-bromo-2-methoxyethane with sodium organyl selenolates. The compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and mass spectral data.
