Abstract
The potassium complexes of the racemic and optically active forms of 1,2-propanediaminetriacetatoacetic acid zincate(II) were prepared stoichiometrically in an essentially nonaqueous system. The complexes were characterized by elemental and thermal gravimetric analysis, and infrared and UV-VIS absorption spectroscopy. Circular dichroism spectra and molecular rotation values were obtained on the optically active complexes.
