Abstract

Seven cyclocarboxylic acid hydrazides and their complexes with copper(II) have been synthesized. The complexes are of 1:1 stoichiometry with respect to CuSO₄ and the ligands except Cu(CPCH)₂SO₄. The magnetic and spectral properties suggest that they are square planar with bidentate hydrazide and sulphate groups.
