Abstract
Hexacoordinated binuclear ruthenium (II) complexes of the type [{RuX(CO) (PPh3)2}2(BDK)] (where X = H or Cl and BDK=bis-β-diketonate), pentacoordinated binuciear rhodium(I) complexes of the type [{Rh(CO) (PPh3)2}2(BDK)] and tetracoordinated binuciear rhodium(I) complexes of the type [{Rh (PPh3)}2(BDK)] nave been prepared by the reactions of [RuHX(CO) (PPh3) 3], [RhH(CO) (PPh3) 3] and [RhH(PPh3)4] with bis-β-diketone. All the new bridged binuciear complexes obtained have been characterised by means of analytical and spectroscopic data.
