Abstract
N-Hydroxy-2-(hydroxyimino)ethanimidoyl chloride, (anti-chloroglyoxime, CGH) has been treated with 2-aminophenol and 2-amino-4-sulphoaniline respectively to give dioximes which have been isolated as nickel complexes rather than free ligands. The complexes were characterized by the elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility measurements and 1H nmr, infrared and atomic absorption spectroscopies.
