Abstract

Note: In September 1977, the National Conference of State Legislatures and the New Jersey Legislative Services Agency sponsored a Transferable Development Rights (TDR) Seminar in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. Among the conference faculty were the foremost experts in the nation on the topic, including Professor John J. Costonis of the University of Illinois College of Law; Professors B. Budd Chauooshian and George H. Nieswand of Rutgers, Cook College; and the Honorable Frederick W. Hall, retired New Jersey Supreme Court Justice and author of Mount Laurel. A transcript of the conference, attended by legislators and legislative staffs from some 26 states, will be available in limited numbers early in 1978 from the New Jersey Legislative Services Agency, State House, Room 128, Trenton, NJ 08625.
