Planning for Litigation

Abstract

At the 1980 National Planning Conference in Cincinnati, a session on Planning for Litigation was held. Charles L. Siemon, an attorney with the Chicago law firm Ross, Hardies, O'Keefe, Babcock & Parsons, introduced the session and talked about how planners can lay the groundwork to avoid lawsuits. W. Anthony Wiles, President of Wiles-Pickard Associates of Reston, Virginia, discussed the role of the master plan and the use of expert witnesses and exhibits in litigation. The session was arranged by the Planning and Law Division of APA. Ed.
