Abstract
Mobile homes in mobilehome parks are a major source of affordable housing. At least two million of the seven million “mobile” homes in the U.S. are located on rented spaces in mobilehome parks. California and Florida have 375,000 and 318,000 spaces respectively. Michigan and Ohio each have over 100,000 mobilehome park spaces. (A table with available state data is located on page 7).1
