Abstract
The word continues to spread—Florida is a wonderful place to live, work, and play. Combine the emigration resulting from that truism with a moderate birth rate and Florida is poised to experience additional rapid population growth in the decades to come, currently projected at 50 percent over the next 30 years, from 16 million to 23 million. With this anticipated boom comes a significant challenge: ensuring a high quality of life for Florida's current and future residents.
