Abstract
In 1975 and 1985, 500 randomly selected K—12 Indiana teachers were polled regarding their physical environment and related energy problems. Participants completed three instruments that had been designed for the project and dealt with (a) word recognition, (b) concept understanding, and (c) attitudes. Analysis of results indicated that teachers had limited environmental literacy but had higher marks in 1985 than in 1975.
