Abstract

Diethyldithiocarbamate reacts with silver(I) in the presence of hydrogen peroxide to give [Ag2(Et2NCS2)2(OH)2]2+ in solution. The complex ion was precipitated as [Ag2(Et2NCS2)2-(OH)2](ClO4)2.
