Raymond Aron

Raymond Aron is the leading French political commentator. His regular articles in Figaro are the strongest bulwark in French intellectual life against the spread of Communist ideology and for the Western Alliance. In addition to his journalistic work, M. Aron is a professor at the École des Sciences administrative at the Institut d'Études politiques. He is the author of many important books on political, historical, and philosophical subjects; and his last, The Century of Total War, has already become a classical contribution to the discussion of how to protect the West from the ideological and military dangers of communism.
