, &

Abstract

Nutrient analysis methodology contributes to the science of determining the quality of an individual's diet. Although comparisons of computerized dietary analysis systems have shown variability in dietary report results (Taylor, Kozlowski, & Baer, 1985; Eck, Klesges, Hanson, Baranowski, & Henske, 1988; Hoover, 1983; Adelman, Dwyer, Woods, Bohn, & Otradovec, 1983; Frank, 1985), the method of quickly assessing the nutrient intake of individuals' actual food choices has several programmatic advantages.
