Alison Dr

Dr. B. Ambedkar has worked as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at SSN College of Engineering, Chennai, since June 2014. Prior to joining SSN, he did postdoctoral research at the UK Center for Applied Energy Research, University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky, USA, in the area of post-combustion enzyme catalyzed carbon dioxide (CO₂) capture systems. While completing his doctoral dissertation, he received the Springer Outstanding Ph.D Thesis Award for developing a high throughput novel ultrasonic process for cleaning of high sulfur and high ash coal. Apart from this, two patents on "Microwave and Megasonics Assisted Carbon Rich Solvent Regeneration Techniques in PCCC", three External Research Grants worth INR. 2.57 Crores from DST-SERB, India, one book, one book chapter, and reputed Journal publications are some of his earned professional credits.
