HYDRODYNAMICS AND MASS TRANSFER IN A ROTATING BIOLOGICAL CONTACTOR

Abstract

A model far predicting the hydrodynamics and mass transfer characteristics in a Rotating Biological type of Contactor is presented. Factors like the film thickness profile and saturation in predicting the rates of absorption of pure oxygen in water have been accounted for.
