Abstract
The reaction of cyclohexene over tellurium loaded NaX zeolite has been studied kinetically and new reaction pathways have been developed to explain observed phenomena. The reaction of cyclohexene is believed to involve extensive disproportionation of cyclohexene molecules and hydrogen transfer between cyclohexene and intermediate cyclohexadiene molecules. The kinetics of the system is discussed in terms of adsorption based rate models.
