MODELLING OF AXIALLY DISPERSED NON-ISOTHERMAL TUBULAR REACTORS FOR HYDROPROCESSING OF SOLID-LIQUID MIXTURES

Abstract

A mathematical model for hydroprocessing of coal-oil slurries in non-isothermal, axially dispersed tubular reactors is developed and numerically solved, considering a five component-six reaction model representing the chemistry of the process, and, dispersive, corrective and interfacial mass and energy transfers. Several simulation results are presented.
