THE GENERATION OF CONTROL STEPS IN BATCH PROCESSES BY USING AI TECHNIQUES

Abstract

A new method for the generation of control steps in batch processes is presented in this paper. One of the AI techniques, namely, the key word analysis technique is used to process the master recipe and the corresponding equipment units. The control steps are created according to the process information specified in the master recipe and the properties of the existing equipment unit. The aim is to unambiguously specify the control steps using a set of basic control instructions from which the actual control code could be created.
